Christianity vs. Atheism??

So, in our previous class of Life Formations we looked at how people look at certain things.  Looking on things like punishment and just a many other words and how people perceive things is just remarkable.  I don't understand how humanists think sometimes.  Why can' people just read the Bible, trust an have faith in God and be Christian?  It makes me so mad how people complain about things but don't take action to fix it.  That is actually though currently something I'm working on right now and this class made me think about that.
It is so sad to see that picture of the young child and it's predator.  I saw it at Youth Convention last year when I went with my church youth as a chaperone.  I never thought i'd see it again then Al showed us the picture.  Why people let things happen when they can fix the problem is beyond me.  However some people are just lazy or scared to step out of their comfort zone.
I love in every class and through Mere Christianity some of C.S. Lewis's quotes.  It is just remarkable how visioned he is!!
The past week and weekend have been so busy again with Youth Winter Retreat helping out.  The Holy Spirit radically moved this past weekend showing those students and leaders their identity and that they are all a part of God's family in which we need to further His Kingdom!  I'm still confused as to how atheists can say they don't believe in God.  If there isn't God, then how do you think everything was created?  Creation ex-nihilo?  Created out of nothing just by nothing?  No there is only one and true God the Father who created us and everything around us...so have faith!
I also can't wait for next class!!
